Harris P5500 Multimode Portable Radio

The P5500, selected as an APCO 2011 Hot Prod­uct, is the newest addi­tion to the fam­ily of tough porta­bles that were the first land mobile radios to com­plete theDHS P25 Com­pli­ance Assess­ment Pro­gram. With Phase 2 upgrad­abil­ity, the P5500 pro­vides access to supe­rior RF spec­i­fi­ca­tions and MIL-STD-810F envi­ron­men­tal spec­i­fi­ca­tions in a resilient pack­age. The portable is avail­able in the Scan (P5550, par­tial key­pad) model and Sys­tem (P5570, full key­pad) model, and has a vari­ety of soft­ware options and acces­sories. Oper­at­ing modes include EDACS/ProVoice Trunk­ing, Open­Sky, P25, and con­ven­tional oper­a­tions.  Ergonomic knobs and but­tons, a light­weight, durable pack­age, and a range of fea­tures make the P5500 an ideal choice.

Harris XG-75 Multimode Portable Radio

The XG-75 is a single-band radio oper­at­ing in the VHF,UHF-L, and 700/800 fre­quency bands. The VHF andUHF-L fre­quency bands are avail­able today with the 700/800 ver­sion to fol­low soon. With mul­ti­ple fea­tures and options avail­able the portable is eas­ily cus­tomized to the user’s needs. The radio offers a noise can­cel­la­tion option min­i­miz­ing the chance of ambi­ent noise from dis­rupt­ing crit­i­cal com­mu­ni­ca­tions in emer­gency sit­u­a­tions. The portable is avail­able in Sys­tem (full key­pad) and Scan (par­tial key­pad) mod­els as well as optional high vis­i­bil­ity yel­low mod­els. Addi­tion­ally, the XG-75 is a future-ready solu­tion withP25 Phase 2 capa­bil­ity in a future soft­ware release.
